Steve and Valerie Bell have been life-time advocates for spiritual vitality and renewal in the local church and in the lives of individual believers. Having ministered as a pastor, radio broadcaster, and para-church leader, since 1998 Steve has thrived in his role as Executive Vice President of Willow Creek Association—accountable for Conferences & Events, and Church Relations—serving thousands of pioneering pastors and Christian leaders throughout North America and beyond who are committed to spiritual transformation.

Valerie, a versatile and engaging communicator, travels widely as a conference speaker, making frequent guest appearances on radio and television. She has authored eight books including A Well-Tended Soul; Getting Out of Your Kids’ Faces and Into Their Hearts; and her latest project, AN AFRICAN AWAKENING: My Journey into AIDS Activism. Currently Valerie also serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for MOPS International.

Together, Steve and Valerie are popular speakers on a variety of topics—especially marriage and family relationships—and their more recent publishing projects include two co-authored books released by Moody Press, MADE TO BE LOVED: Enjoying Spiritual Intimacy with God and Your Spouse; and FAITH-SHAPED KIDS: Helping Your Child Grow Spiritually. Their latest co-authored book is REAL SURVIVORS: Finding Hope and Courage in Times of Crisis. The Bells have two grown sons and make their home in Kildeer, Illinois.
