Merry Christmas

Dear friends and family,

Here it is Christmas again! We wish each of you a season of great HOPE and Peace! Apart from that, so many of our Christmas festivities are of little  worth.

For the Burrus', this has been a full year!

Caitlin and Brielle are both in the final year of their respective programs and will graduate in May. We're thinking on different weekends! Cait is finishing her Master's program in Biblical Archeology from Wheaton College. Brie will be completing her Fine Arts Degree from Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. Both girls have really been challenged in their programs and really love what they are studying. Brie's boyfriend, Jason Augsburger, just received his diploma this weekend with an engineering degree from Toledo University. We are so grateful they have all had this opportunity and pray for the girl's as they 'finish well'!

As for next steps, Cait is putting together a resume during the Christmas break to begin her job hunt. Brie is in the process of interviews for a Master's program from Ohio State next fall. Please be praying for clarity and direction for both of them.

Jason has accepted a job with HONDA near Columbus. Yes, he does seem to be hanging around so we included him in our card and letter. We got his permission!

Rennie is keeping very busy with his ALL THINGS NEW business. Often we have a bit of a lull somewhere in the year but not this year. With the economy, we're finding more and more people are interested in keeping the old car "one more year." This year has had the added challenges of keeping up with additional help in the shop, but he is grateful for a couple of young men that are working with him currently.

My business (Kathy's) with GREEN HOPE COACHING is continuing to gain momentum & clarity. I'm finding that I love the opportunities that are coming my way, but I do have to really weigh what is good to do and what is best. With each step, I find new ways of doing things and better ways of generating business. This fall, I've been inspired by a WIVES ONLY group that has made some tremendous strides in their own marriages. I have also been challenged by several clients that are facing some of the 'tough stuff' in life and yet taking significant steps toward a hope-filled future.

I am so excited for what is yet to come for GHC in 2012. For a complete list of opportunities being offered in January- whether you live nearby or across the sea- go to www.greenhopecoaching.com. OK- commercial over!

Please know that we are so grateful for your presence in our lives- whether it's the prayers you offer up on our behalf, the word of encouragement or challenge you give on Facebook, or your week in -week out, face to face presence we enjoy. We continue to pray that in the good and bad days of life, that you see HOPE- Green, life-giving HOPE that comes only from the God of hope!

Merry Christmas, Loved Ones!

May 2012 be 'exceedingly abundant, beyond all you could ask or think"!
