Six months ago I welcomed you to Green HOPE Coaching for the first time!
It is amazing to ponder that just 6 months ago, I took the first steps out of my comfort zone and toward the dream planted deep within me leading me into the lives of others. This week, I was feeling a bit deflated that I wasn't farther along in my business, until I began this newsletter. As I listed all that has happened in the course of these months, I was reminded of the power that looking back can have for our future. I was reminded of where I came from- and where I sense God is leading me. I became so grateful to be doing what I'm doing.
One year ago, I hadn't even begun to ponder coaching, let alone starting my own practice.
Nine months ago,
began the Foundations Class with WORLD COACH INSTITUTE to become certified as a Life and Relationship Coach.
Eight months ago,
coached my first paying client and even hosted my first group coaching session.
Six months ago,
launched GREEN HOPE COACHING complete with website: www.greenhopecoaching.com
and blog: www.brickhousenews.blogspot.com
Started second group coaching session
Five months ago,
Created Facebook Business page for GHC. Check us out and be sure to LIKE the page.
Completed course work for Foundations Class & began Master Class training at WCI
Four months ago,
Started GHC monthly newsletter. You are reading June's edition now.
Three months ago,
Spoke at Marsh Creek Church, Exton PA
Began work on Master class project- writing an E-book

This month,
I'm fascilitating two group coaching classes- one local, one teleclass (includes women from Ohio, Pennsylvania & Japan) We are using REWRITING YOUR EMOTIONAL SCRIPT, by Becky Harling as the focus for both of these groups. This study has been transformational in my life, but I have seen over and over how working through this process speaks deeply into the healing of our emotional script. I encourage working through the lifemap in What's Your Story Telling You? as a precursor the the REWRITE study. But REWRITE is powerful all by itself.
This past Sunday, June 12th, we hosted the first CELEBRATE THE DANCE event for married couples (includes 50 minutes of ballroom dance instruction, 50 minutes of relationship coaching).
We had a great group join us - some have been married 4 years, others 32 years! We all learned some new dance steps on the dance floor and in our marriage. We will be doing another event in the fall! Be watching for details to come.
On Saturday, June 25, at 6pm & Sunday, June 26, at 10:30am, I will be speaking at our home church, Crossroads Church, Lima (Rt 309 & Thayer Road). Topic: Breathe Life!
Whew! No wonder I've felt the wind in my face. I've started to pick up my pace to keep up with my future. So why did I share this list of activity with you? I guess one reason is to let you know that GREEN HOPE COACHING is open for business.
God has been at work in my life in some pretty huge ways in the past few months. I am learning, growing and finding it to be as equally rewarding as it is challenging. But each time I let go of my agenda, and look for where God is leading, He shows up. I love being where He is!
But another reason I tell you is that I desire- I NEED- a team of people around me that will commit to pray for me and GHC as we continue to grow and impact lives of men and women for Christ. I long for the prayers and support of people like YOU to come alongside and carry the needs and dreams of this ministry to the Lord.
I realize we each have plenty of things vieing for our attention & support. So there are different levels so you can choose what works best for you. Having an artist daughter, I thought I would look up some unusual names for the color green to label each level. Do you know how many shades of green there are? So...consider how you might get involved. Choose from the COLORS listed below- or create a colorscape of your own and let me know how you want to join with us in this adventure. In an effort to work through the material of the e-book for some additional writing projects I am pursuing, I am looking for 8-10 individuals who are interested in looking at their own stories and willing to share what they are learning. In return, I, as a coach, will assist you to grasp understanding of the role your story is playing for your future.
